Personal Best 4-15-17
Yesterday morning was one I will not forget anytime soon. I got set up and 4 were gobbling pretty good. They kept gobbling and I could tell two were coming in, one harder than the other. The one that was coming harder came up behind me and was only 15-18 feet from me and steady gobbling. Every time he gobbled I thought I would have a heart attack. Finally he started moving around me but in some thick stuff I was final able to get a shot and I took it. He started the death flop so I got over to him. The first thing I noticed he did not have much in the spur department, but he made up in it in others. Triple beard and 23 pounds. Beard lengths 10.5,7,and 5.5 for a total beard length of 23 inches. I had always wanted to get a multibearded bird but a triple was probably once in a lifetime bird. I tried attaching a picture but it was to large of a file.

Congratulations on a super nice bird.

Seahunt --
I still get an adrenaline rush when one gobbles at 40yds, at 15-18', I might need a rescue squad!
23lbs, AND a tripple beard...Way to go!

Congratulations. Not easy to sit still in that situation and wait for a good shot.
If pic is on smartphone, this is what works for me: email the pic to yourself. When you press send, it should give the option to reduce the message size. Choose one of the options which is under the size limit for files attached to messages on this site. Then down load pic from the email and attach to your post.
I would love to see the pic.
