Post Flu
Well, it's been many years since I missed an opening day. Tomorrow it will probably happen.
Woke up this morning not feeling well. Turns out I got the dang flu. Oh well, I look forward to seeing all the reports tomorrow. Who knows, if by some miracle I may slip out.
Good luck folks. By safe...be thankful.

Tim

Post Re: Flu
Feel your pain. I was diagnosed with Type A flu about 10 days ago. No way I could have hunted for about 3 days. High fever, chills, aches, etc. Only I didn't have was stomach cramps. You need to get some Tamiflu meds asap. They really really help if you get them in your body no more then 48 hours after the high fever hits. After the 48 hours its too late. I was functional in 3 days, but even now, I'm still week and have a nagging cough. This is rough stuff. PS. I passed it to my wife and she has it now as well. She is still running a fever of 101 plus, but I think is getting better but is quite weak. Good luck, but don't push it too hard as you will truly regret it.

I hunted all of past opening week in Tenn with either a really bad cold or a weak case of this stuff. I just gutted it out. Better now. I think some dead turkeys helped cure it. Hope you guys get better.

Post Re: Flu
Well I made it as far as the drive way and thought how crazy am I to be trying this. Went back to bed pouting like a baby.
I'm actually sitting in the urgent care this very minute.
Maybe Monday.
Congratulations to all who stamped a tag this morning.
