One way to find out how big is up close and personnel. I love watching them during spring and fall turkey hunting, they are very interesting and sometimes funny. I usually see the most of them in PA every season where I hunt. Here usually about one a year on the Q. Other States now and then. Earl

Bears are rough on deer feeders. We had a place with one that keep tearing up feeders, and the only way to keep him out of it (he was big) was to string a long cable way up high between two big trees and hang the feeder there. I don't think that would have worked on a small bear....

The farm I hunt in Strasburg has a monster that we see about 3 times a year on trail cams. Always at night. He has destroyed two trail cams (doesn't like the flash I think). I finally installed a bear proof cover. Well, they say its bear proof. One of these days I'll probably find out.

Cool pics. Do you have any sensitivity issues with that Primos trail cam ? I have two of them and they sometimes run off pics every minute. I have diagnosed them in a controlled setting(my basement) and they do the same thing so it's not because of branches, grass etc. Just curious.

Yeah its real sensitive as well! I do have it set to where it fires off 3 shots when it's activated, but it definitely will take shots of nothing. .. If the wind blows the trees. .. or even a bug on the lens... to even the sun directly shining on it! But for $70... I'm not complaining! It does what I need!

You're right. It's a good camera for the money.
