When to stop using the Boy dekes?
I know this has been around before, but just wondering if and when you stop using strutting decoys and Jake decoys. I plan to use them all season. What about you?

I stop using the Strutters around this time every season.. the second week of May.. I will use a Jake up until the end sometimes.. but usually just stick with a single hen from here on out..

I haven't used my full strut decoy at all this season. I think they can be very effective but are a pain to carry. I have been using a DSD hen and an Avian X jake. Still a lot to carry but they work. I will probably be using them this weekend.

A big fan of gobbler decoys, jakes and ,or strutters. Must say, this was the first season that I've backed off of using" male" decoys of any sort. Had birds shy away from them early on so been using hens only since the first week. As a rule....I'll use a "male" decoy all season long
