 Winchester Silvertip Need some help guys. Im looking for the 270 win. Winchester Silvertip x2703 is the product number. (Not the ballistic silvertips) I have looked everywhere and cant find any anymore. My browning BAR loves them. If you have some youd like to sell or know somebody that has some please let me know. Thanks

Re: Winchester Silvertip Right now you would be lucky to find anything. Ammo is just nuts. Have you done searches on the web? My FN based off of the Browning action likes the .308 silvertips too. Shot one deer with it and it performed perfectly.

Re: Winchester Silvertip yeah Vic i picked a bad time to need to find ammo. Ive looked and found a few places that say they carry it but they are out of stock. Since Winchester no longer makes it i think im going to have to try and find something else my BAR will like. Ive got two boxs left so i should be good a few more years anyway. Thanks

Re: Winchester Silvertip reed, i found you a box today at the gun show. i had to pay $25 for them. i tried to get them for $20 but the guy wouldn't do it. they are 130 grain. but if you don't want them i understand and will try to sell them to someone local.thanks
