 Going to have to be a little picky now... Hunted hard all last week and finally on Friday morning this guy came slipping through the rocks and mountain laurel about 6:45. I made a good shot and he went about 75 yards. Was a great reward for a lot of hard hunting last week.
After the activity on opening morning I thought it was going to be wide open all week, but it was pretty dead and was lucky to catch this guy up and about.
This guy had a freakishly "reddish" coat for this time of year. Very pretty and definitely stood out!
