Saturday, October 20th... I settled into the stand on an island on a large swamp around 2:00pm. I started seeing deer filter through on the way up the oak ridges to feed. This guy was the 5th buck that walked into bow range. His width kind of fooled me about his actual age and size but he's still a trophy bow kill in my book. At 15 steps I let the rage fly and he only made it 45 yards from the tree. I'm one and done boys!
