Post Tazewell County Success
Trusted my gut (and camera) and hunted a stand for the 4th time in 5 days and it finally paid off with a nice doe. I had a 4 pointer under me for an hour on Monday, saw zip on Tuesday, 2 does on Thursday, and 3 this evening. Sitting this stand for 4 straight hunts is no small feat. It sets very close to the public road, about 60 yards from the neighbor's chicken pen with about 80 chickens, about 100 yards from 4 grouchy pigs, and if the cows haven't been fed they roar all evening. The stand is on my property line over looking a very small, 50' x 30' food plot. In spite of the commotion, the game camera rolls pictures here all day long. Punched a tag, so I'll start venturing a little deeper in the woods now. Good Luck.
