Re: video editing
I have not done a lot .. just home movies and some hunts ..
I use Pinnacle Studio Ultimate HD now.. started out with Pinnacle Studio 7 I beieve years ago.. as I upgrade OS versions and cameras I kept upgrading the Pinnacle versions to get the latest features and to be able to edit in HD once I got an HD cam last year.
I have also used Final Cut Pro at work, but I don't like it, too complicated.. you really need to get training to use it.. it is for professional grade equipment editing.. The Pinnacle does everything that I want for a fraction of the cost.. and works great for most HD handy cams out there.. if you have a real nice 3CCD profesional grade camera though then you may want to look into Final Cut Pro.
Hope this helps..
