This bird came along way to die this morning. Well over 400 yards. Last 150 yards half strutting and gobbling across a field. 22 lbs 10.25 inch beard 7/8 inch spurs

Big ol bird. Way to go ron. I climbed all the way to the top of the big mtn today and chased two with hens At my age you would think i would know better. What a view though.

GN, i have not hunted my Grainger County properties in 2 years. Too many poachers, tresspassers, and some politics. Do not miss climbing those mountains.
This is a Knox county bird. Rolling farmland. Easy on the knees.
