Post Poll Question on lead versus heavier then lead loads
Two questions, How many members are shooting non-lead loads this year?

And how many members are hunting with a gun older then they are?? 8)

For me its both.

I'm shooting heavier then lead loads in my SBE (Mag-blend) and I'm shooting lead loads in my 112 year old Parker (RST's (considerably older then I am)).

Where I hunt will determine which gun I use.

:D My SBE was made in the 80's I believe. My Parker was made in 1900. I'm half as old as the Parker.

Lead from my 105-year old LC Smith, which I have used to kill three turkeys. 3" Winchester extended range #6's, backed up by 3" Hevishot #2's, from my Rem 1187 which is what I usually use for turkey hunting. I use the LC Smith, which I inherited from my grandfather, mostly for squirrel hunting now.

I use lead. Thought about getting some HTL for my son but will just make sure the bird is close enough. Guess I will go to lead when they ban it, hope the day never comes.
