Post JAKES trout fishing event w/pics
Pic heavy but worth the look if you like little kids and big fish!

The James River NWTF Chapter in Bedford, VA just hosted its’ 4th trout fishing event this past weekend. 66 kids of all ages came out to enjoy a beautiful day and test their fishing skills. Some lunkers were caught and NO ONE fell in! Along with the kids we had 63 parents and 16 chapter volunteers on hand. Volunteers cooked hotdogs and hamburgers for lunch and then we had a door prize drawing for all the kids. Thanks to a very generous farm owner for letting us use his facilities.

This lucky young man reeled in a 6 lb bass on 4 lb test! Check out the look on his sisters’ face in the background.

More little fishermen and fisherwomen.

Only one word can describe it and that word is "Awesome". Great to get kids involved. Hope I have grandkids some day, as I want to spoil the hell out of them.
