One dominate bird (think he is double bearded as well). One not so dominate. Another gobbler is all by himself and at least one Jake.

PS. They are roost gobbling only. The girls are right in there with the gobblers at fly down.

PS. What's up with the birds in the first group all hiding their heads?

Nice pictures. Looks like you have some headless turkeys there.

The hens are preening themselves.

They're all asking the strutter if their tailfeathers make their butts look big :P

Great pictures. Looks to me though the non-struter may have a little more curel to his spurs. But either one would fit nicely into a deep fryer. Best to you. The next picture we want to see is you posing with them.

The dominate bird is the same one I got pictures of a month ago when it was raining. Has a double beard. Hope he is still there in a little over two weeks. The group will show up a day or two and then not show up for a day or two. Tells me they are roaming around looking for food. They do seem to really like the corner of the Alfalfa field. There is actually two different Alfalfa fields that connect through a little funnel. The trail came is set up overlooking that funnel. What's interesting is I have another trail cam set up where a food plot is. Last year they were in that foolplot every day, but his year there's only been one bird show up. Its a gobbler, but he's always solo and thus has no doubt been kicked out of the group. Early in the year there were 5 gobblers hanging together. Amazing what happens when the boss bird starts kicking all the other gobblers out (except his first officer of course).

I count my blessings I've got at least one place within an hour drive with gas prices doing what they are doing.
