I have held one and they are big. Like holding onto a log. I am sure they wish they had one of those during WWII. I am sure it would knock down an enemy plane like a duck flying over a small pond.

My cousin has a double barrel 10, I have seen it drop geese out at 70 to 80 yards. It is a beast. You do have less felt recoil for 2 reasons, it has more surface area for the powder to push on so you don't need to generate at much force to move the shot. Most guns are also heavy.

10ga now has no more killing power than a 12ga...

Unless they can get the shot to travel fast in a 10ga vs a 12... no difference... The best you can hope for is a better patterning gun...

As far as the 10ga 70-80 yard shots i doubt it
