Bland County Predators
Checked some cams in Bland County today and see I need to work on some coyotes on the new farm I have permission to hunt. Had some more of these two moving off. Also had one of a larger coyote at the far edge of the cameras ability right at daylight. Give me something to do after deer season

Re: Bland County Predators
Well, I think if I caught them in the crosshairs while deer hunting I might have to drop the hammer on them. Then again, that's just me.

Don't get me wrong... if they come by during deer season they will be dropped However come after deer season I will target them at night with a light and dying rabbit

Re: Bland County Predators
Starting to see more yotes up this way. I think they were stocked by DNR or something. A buddy shot 2 last year.
Here at APG they put some on post to help with the groundhog population. Still plenty of hogs ruunning around, but now we have yotes too.
Nice.

Cool! Those coyote pics were taken on the other side of the county on Big Walker Mtn near the Giles county border.

Re: Bland County Predators
I know a couple of well equipped and capable predator hunters here in Tazewell County. They are always happy to find a new spot to hunt, and are willing to come call and put someone else behind the trigger. If you guys want some help hunting your areas these guys will come call them in for you. They're good guys and have good manners. They won't be trying to hone in on your hunting areas. They already deer and turkey hunt one of the best properties in SW Virginia, just like to get folks into predator hunting.
