If you do get the Spypoint you may want to get one of these safes, http://www.custom1enterprises.com/custo ... es_014.htm Looks like he is closing the Spypoint line out  I have two already and just ordered another one. I lag bolt them to the tree, use a shrouded Masterlock and a python cable.

Just spoke with him via email. He will continue to sell the Spypoint bear safes but will no longer sell their cameras.

Can't wait to hear how it works out for you. I just got back from hanging my Spypoint Tiny in the Custom1 bear safe. Now to be patient and wait a week or two before checking it :P

I like the multi-zonal coverage. That is a cool little camera. Will it do plot watching functions too? If I get another it will be able to take periodic photos of a food plot too.

Vic,

Yes it will do time lapse photos as a setting along with 6 shots per activation instead of the old 4. Spypoint is also coming out with an update in March so that you can take another photo 10 seconds after activation instead of 1 minute.

I have a IR4 and IR-8. Like them both. I got the 8 so I could review photos in the field and use it as a trail camera. I just pull it out of the box and take it to the other camera to see what is on the chip. That mini is appealing. If I get another it might just be that one. What is the cost?

Best price I have seen so far was Natchez Shooting Supply catalog for $149 on sale. Most places it is $200 for the Tiny version. The Tiny-W version is about another $100 because it has wireless added with it.
