Re: Euro
Looks good. Did you do it yourself? If so, what process did you use?

Re: Euro
Yes..
I boil in Dish Soap, wrap the first couple inches of antler up from the skull cap in duct tape so it doesn’t discolor .. scrape it good two or three times during boiling and spary out excess nose cartilage and brain matter with Water Hose.. until it’s good and clean.. then sand it lightly..
Put over a bucket .. drape paper towels around the skull and soak in Peroxide for a day or so and then rotate to Bleach .. re-apply four or five times with a day or so between rotating between Peroxide and bleach .. soaking the paper towels each time.. may have to replace the paper towels at least once..

Re: Euro
Looks as good or better then any I have seen. A friend of mine boils them then uses a pressure washer to clean out the brains and other soft tissue.

Re: Euro
That turned out real nice. Quite frankly I prefer a Euro mount to a shoulder mount....not sure I will ever get another shoulder mount. First Euro I had done professionally and it was just OK. So second one I did myself and it turned out better. I used a paste from basic white and industrial peroxide. Quick and easy. I then mounted it on a plaque I got from Mckenzies. That was probably the trickiest part. Here's a pic from before the mount. This was from 09:

Re: Euro
Both are very nice. I like Euro's too, wife doesn't. If I want to display it she wants a shoulder or just antlers on a plaque.
