Hey guys I wanted to share a couple of public land bucks I took this year. Both were taken within a couple days of each other.
The buck on the ground was a young seven point with a broken eyeguard (Sorry for the photo). The other buck was a mainframe eight that weighed 200 pounds on the hoof. Both bucks were cruising the ridgetops and are now in the freezer. First time I have ever doubled up on bucks in a season. Now its time to focus on turkeys, maybe I'll finally put a tag on one.
Some pictures from a western trip I took this fall. I had no idea blacktails got up to the 300 pound range, big animals.
