Re: Got a biggun
Heard 2 different packs of coyotes on Thanksgiving night on the mountain behind my family farm. Explains why no deer were spotted there in 3 days of hunting. My step-dad has caught 2 coyotes in snares in the last week so they are certainly in the area. Also, as a side bar he mentioned at a recent public meeting that all were advised NOT to mention any wolf crossing with the coyotes and just to call them coyotes as the environmentalists would want a ban on their killing if they were labeled as wolves. I have friends who live and hunt in Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming and the re-introduction of wolves has hammered the deer and elk populations. The best thing to do if you do happen to kill a wolf, remember the 3 S's. Shoot, Shovel, Shut-up.
