Nasty Weather
Looks like these next few days are going to be pretty nasty. Rain, warm, high winds. Anyone still going out?

Re: Nasty Weather
Went yesterday and it was awful for the most part. Shifting winds in every direction coupled with off and on rain. I was supposed to go today, but decided to get ready for the masses about to arrive on Turkey day at my house. I'll be back at it on Friday and Saturday. BTW, the deer just didn't move yesterday in No Va based on what I've heard from the locals.

Re: Nasty Weather
I went out this morning...started off not to bad and then it began to pour! Found out my boots aren't water proof anymore! May head out tomorrow hopefully! I planned on taking my oldest boy before he goes out of town with his mother. Praying the rain goes away!

Re: Nasty Weather
My plan was to do a little hunting over the holiday and set my farm up for a few checks trapping. If it's too wet I'll just spend more time hunting.

Re: Nasty Weather
Yesterday was the best day of hunting I've had all season! Even better than killin my 145" 10pt opener of black powder. Rattled up 4 different bucks had a nice young 11pt at 10 yards.. He was 400 yds across a field when i hit the horns. He imedieatly stopped and ran to my tree! Wish I had my bow cause it would have been an easier decision. Hard one to pass, he's very tall and 16" wide def. a 3.5 yr old. Another yr or two and he'll be nice! Rattled up 2 small bucks in the next hour and at 8:30 had a 7 pt that was possibly a 3.5 yr old come running to the horns......he was light on mass but out passed the ears. Ended up shooting a doe for the EAB at 9:45 when a group of 8 does and youngens came by.

Re: Nasty Weather
I am at work in the rain right now (11/22 at 11p.m.) Work off at 8a.m. going to take a 2 hour nap then head out. Plan on hunting the next week. Good luck everyone!
