Best Broadheads for Crossbow...
Looking for a broadhead that will shoot very similar to my 100 gr field points, any suggestions???
Heard montec g5's work well with crossbows.
They have always shot very similar to my field points with my compound bow.

I shoot the 100 grain RedHots and I am very happy with their consistency. They shoot very close to field points, if not right on. However, don't assume anything. Practice with the broadheads. RU? Radford University?

Re: Best Broadheads for Crossbow...
I have been using Muzzy's for a long time and they shoot within an inch of my field tips. That is minute of deer to me. Just bought some of the NAP Bloodrunners2. Was looking at the Rages but heard about 50 50 on them. Looked at other expandibles but was afrais they would deploy apon launch. The Bloodrunners expand, but the blades don't flip or slip. The nose pushes and and cams wing the blades out to 2+ inches. They are supposed to fly like field tips but I haven't had a chance to try them. Another good expandible it the Grim Reapers. Several friends love them.
What Xbow do you have? Is it one of the new extreme ones?

I shoot the g5 strikers. They shoot like field points out of my new horton bone collector and are SCARY Sharp. I shoot them with my compound bow also and have killed deer with them and have always been impressed.
