Hello, long time no see!!!!
I wanted to stop in and say hello to the old gang!! It's been a long while since I stopped in here at VaTurkey. I have to admit, I do like the looks of the new site!! WTG Freddie!!!
P.S. Just so everyone knows, I ended up going through a Nasty divorce back in 2002, and it finally became final this past June!!! I lost my house, woodshop and 1/2 of everything else that "I" worked for over the last 18 years!! I have to admit, I was pretty depressed for a long while. I still have two years left of "payments" to the EX before I'm offically done!! Friends and these forums have kept me going so far!! Hopefully this year or next I can get another house and start all over again.

Hey Paul... good to hear from you! Your name pops up around here every once and a while when someone asks about ways to display their trophies. Hope things are going well for you and congrats on your nice gobbler last spring! Don't be a stranger!

Calling MAYTOM
Maytom,
I talked to you about a year or so ago and could not find you anywhere. Well I know why now. I am from WNY and live in VA now I was wondering how your NY deer season went. Ours was horrible at best. Out of 15 guys ZERO Bucks durning the regular gun season. and only one during the archery season. Email me at droptine582@yahoo.com I would like to talk to you.
Thanks
Tom

My deer season was the pit's this past year!! I had off the first three weeks in November for the rut during the bow season here in NY, but the rut was very lackluster!! After many days and hours in my stands, I never seen any decent racked bucks!! Many doe and smaller fork horns, but the big guys weren't to be found!! The following gun season was the very same as well, I spent the entire opening day in my portable treestand, and never seen a single deer???? I really feel that the coyotes are doing much more harm to the herds than previously thought!! I'll shoot you an e-mail shortly!!
