What!!!! no Catfishermen???
Figured somebody would be talkin catfish..... With the duckhunters on the site, figured someone would turn their duckboat into a catfish express. Great way to kick back, relax and keep an eye on the river! That's an those thing really will pull on your string

Re: What!!!! no Catfishermen???
Several of us get out after flatheads every now and then. I do admit that I never got out last summer.

I find it the perfect way to sit around, talk huntin..or whatever, catch a few fish and keep an eye on the river. Exp. in the fall, when the fowl of the air start to show up and move around.

Re: What!!!! no Catfishermen???
We chase the flatheads in the late spring/early summer and the stripers at night then too. Smallmouth fish the local rivers all summer/ Crappie fish in the early spring. Spend the fall/winter hunting but have been known to go striper fishing in January/February.

Re: What!!!! no Catfishermen???
I used to fish for them a lot, but not so much anymore. If the rivers flow is above normal I usually trade in the bass tackle for the catfish tackle.
