Post Spring 2010 Diary...
Ok... Once again I'm going to try something different this year.

In the past it seemed that the updates didn't get viewed as much as I'd hoped. What I'm going to try and do is just keep adding to this thread from the field throughout the season.

I started this early to do some testing so please bare with me as I try some different things.

Stay tuned and I'll let everyone know when the updates start!

Okay...

It looks like this might just work okay.

Give me some idea of what you guys like to see!!!!

It's easy to do reports/updates when you're in a blind/etc but when I'm out running and gunning it's a bit hard to type when you are holding a shotgun and trying to hug some tree bark! :)

Do you guys like the setup pics or am I wasting my time? Obviously everyone loves a dead turkey pic, but what else would you guys like to see or read about as I get chances to make posts???

I hang on every thread. I personally like the setup stuff. I learn from it. Really, anything that you can post is great. Thanks in advance for taking the time. It has to be a pain in the rear at times.

I personally have enjoyed the updates, a few less time gaps but I know how it goes!

since you asked:

What we would really like is The Girls of Spring! ok Girls Of Spring gobbler season. No Truck stop women either, I know the places you frequent on the road. I have absolutely no tips on how old guys can obtain the proper photos however.

Seriously any WMA's close to Ft. Lauderdale

I'd like to see more of the country you hunt. The lay of the land, the brooks and streams, the history you walk by.............with out spot burning of course.

Dead turkey photo's aren't bad either.

Your early diaries were a real inspiration in my writing Freddy. Looking forward to your travels.

Thanks everyone... I'll do what I can!!!

GOBLN2... I ain't telling nobody nothing about where I hunt. The things that people, I mean poachers, will do to kill a turkey amazes me. They are worthless and I don't want them anywhere near me and where I am hunting!! Can you tell I've had some bad experiences before? Anyway... locations of hunts will not be revealed. About as specific as I will get is what county.... maybe!

I really enjoy the entire story you tell. The pics showing your set-up and such add a lot to the story. It allows me to see things better as I sit at work.
