2008... Starting off with a bang, bang, bang...

TScott, Dale, and I headed out early New Years Day to one of their favorite spots. It didn't take long for the ducks to start flying... we actually had a greenhead swimming around in our spread before daylight! Anyway, we had a nice hunt and great fellowship... a great way to kick off the New Year! The first couple ducks that came in at shooting light didn't fair too well... This is our bird dog... His name is Dale. A little hard headed, but he does pretty good. You can see the duck just in the edge of the eddy... What the duckies saw... Job well done on the ducks guys... Some geese across the water that we later got some shots at... The pile on the riverbank... The happy hunters...
