fishing alaska - NOW WITH PICS
anybody else heading there this year??
i just got back, from an 18 day trip,, and had a great time, the salmon runs were a week late, pretty much over the whole state..
so the fishing was really slow compared to all the other times i have been there.
but still managed to bring some fish home.
i finally broke the 50#mark on king salmon and 100#on halibut,,
(2007 has been a great year got my first turkey this year,
i cant wait for the big game season to get here, and see what is in store for me...)
the king was a blast to catch & the halibut was pure work..
caught a 26" rainbow but it was by accident and it was on my salmon pole, sure would of liked to have hooked him with light tackle..
i have some pictures but still havent taken the time to learn how to post em.
if anybody wants to bother i will email them to ya.
have a great summer everybody....
