Post Another great morning and hunt.
Finally got together w/ my cousin, been trying all season. Met him at 8;00 to go to a place some distance away that I hadn't been this year. Farm manager told me last night where he'd seen a gobbler a couple of times. So after we hit the woods we made our way over that way calling a little on the way. we got to the hill where a tom could hear us from the reported spot and got a faint response. Next call we could tell he was coming . Set up in a great little spot , little opening inside thicker woods. Next calls went unanswered so we wait for his next move. 5 minutes later here he comes walking right in to my cousin who took him at 20 yds. 9 1/2 in beard, 1 1/8, 1 3/16 but only 16 lbs . What another great morning to be in the woods! This is the best weather I have ever seen for turkey season by far and it has shown in our success. I have heard as many or more gobblers but have never had them respond as well as this year, not by a long shot!

ps gobbler was hanging out right near a state road!
