You certainly did... what a sweet hunt that was!! Thanks again!

Amy and I doubled on gobblers several years ago on the last day but that's the only one I can remember for me. I called one in for my brother on the last day last season.

A few years back I did in the pouring rain. It was a great hunt. I hope to score tomorrow too.

May years ago (maybe 15) I took a bird on each of the last 2 days of the season.
One was a mountain bird the other a flatlander.

I've killed two last day birds.

My first was my first ever bird at age 14 in PA. Killed at 9:20am the last day of the season in 1981. Bird came over 400 yards in about 45 minutes and I killed him at 10 yards with a 20 ga. 22 lbs, 10" beard, 1" spurs.

My second was in WV in 1999. Season ended at 1pm and I shot the bird at 12:57pm...no lie! My best overall gobbler to date...19 1/2 lbs (little light), 11.5" beard and 1 7/16" spurs.

It doesn't end until it officially ends!
