Well, I never took the banter as bashing. The first turkey I ever shot was with a Remington. I am just getting juiced up for turkey season, so I will talk about anything that has anything to do with hunting. SBE's are certainly nice guns, but certainly the sun does not rise and set on them. One of these days, I am going to hunt with a single shot. BTW, the recoil on my SBE shooting 3 1/2" Winchester hi velocity loads almost made me cry when I was looking for the best load/choke.

Amen on the juiced up its hard to keep the sap down this time of year. The guys I know with 31/2s most of them shoot 3 in shells as their best load/choke combinations. 1 with an sbe shoots a kicks w/ a 1 3/4 oz supreme that is awesome.

I shoot a NEF 10 sometimes....try patterning that for a while if you want to see some stars...I used to use a boat cushion to save my soulder when I was testing various kick's tubes for it...but when a bird is out there o nthe other end you never feel a thing.

Oh yeah. Forgot to say that 243 and "R' also stand for Coyotes out here in Frederick County. (I type so slow that I have time to forget alot on top of my natural forgetfulness!).

I have 3 Remingtons... All 3 are turkey killing machines... I just bought the Rem 870SPS with the pistol grip stock and the Realtree HD camo from Bass Pro Shop for 479.00... took a gobbler at 56 paces last sat... Farthest shot I've ever made... Nobody has to sell me on Remington 870's... If there good enough for Toxy Hass, Ronnie CUZ Strickland and Will Primos there good enough for me!!!!!
