They are knocking the woods down! Does that help?

Actually, I have no idea... maybe Hody (who hunts down that way) or Longbeard Magnet can chime in when they get back on the board. I know Hody's hunting today, not sure about LM...

fullback,

I live about ten minutes away from appomattox...2 of the farms i have been hunting down there have been EXTREMLEY hened up and pretty much quiet. I know a few guys that have killed a few but they are just now really starting to gobble good.....the national forest has been hunted pretty hard....where bouts are you going to be hunting....(whitout giving away your spot)........I hope this helps a little bit.....

FB,
Appomattox is a GREAT place for gobblers. Anywhere in or around Appomattox will be sure to get you a bird. In fact all the birds from Bath Co. and Craig Co. recently migrated to Appomattox - repeat NO BIRDS IN BATH CO. or CRAIG CO. this spring.

Anyway, good luck. Wish I could help, but humor is about all I can add on this subject.

I hunted in Appomattox Saturday and Monday and the birds have been tight lipped on the farm. I talked to a guy Monday and he said that he and his father have killed 3 so far, so they can be gotten, but you'll have to work to get them. The weather has also left a lot to be desired, so it could be that the past few days I hunted over there, the rain shut down the gobbling activity.
