Will do GN...good point.

UNO means "one" in italian...and just for the record, yes i am full blooded italian. that gobbler mount is the very first gobbler i ever killed...some 22 years ago...solo. so he is a pretty special bird from a lot of different perspectives.

they are good if hunting fields, i dont use them in the timber. my buddie had his hen decoy shot in the spring by a guy in his hunting club, in wv. i dont think id ever use a gobbler on public land, that goes with out saying i guess. i had a guy stalk my hen decoy in va, and a guy stalk my deer decoy while bowhunting in il. you never know who you are gonna run into.

GREAT BIRD DIABLO, tell your buddy congrats.

My brother got some good video yesterday moring as a tom strutted and gobbled into his Montana strutting gobbler decoy. The tom gobbled 13 times in a row.
You can hardly tell the difference between the real bird and the deek on the video footage. Bird never knew what hit him.

In the right place, in the right position, at the right time I would use it...

I've had a few tough old birds that needed a dose of a strutting decoy for sure...
