daddyj,
sorry no pics but we got the idea from NWTF'S Turkey Call magazine. You may go to their website and find some info.

Spur necklaces are very attractive indeed.
To bring out the whiteness of the leg bone put some peroxide on it, this will eat away ant pigment in the bone.
Be careful not to get it on the spurs as it will discolor them.

I put my spurs on a raw hide boot lace, with my crow call in the middle. I keep them seperated with glass beads and indian pipe bones. The crow call is attached with artificial sinew, I prefer the dark brown raw hide.
I saw the spurs off, boil them, and clean them up. I do the final shaping with a dremel tool, always ware saftey glasses while working with the dremel.
Keep em Gobblin!

What my dad, brother and I have done with some....
Clean up the spurs and run a piece of leather through them. Separate the spurs with some beads. Cut the plastic off the shell I shot him with and punch the primer out. Then run the leather ends through the primer hole and tie it off. Cut the leather off and stick the base of the beard in the shell brass and fill with hot glue. The leather makes a loop above the spurs and you can hang it easily.
