Post Cold, wet spring effect on turkey hunting.
I live in Califonia, at least until I can get to Bedford County, and we have had one of the wettest and coldest springs in history. :(

I have read the gobblers fly down later and stay in more open areas in this kind of weather.

Any advice concerning this type of spring and how it affects the gobblers would be very much appreciated.

Typically turkeys in general will head to open areas during rain... when it's raining I usually run and gun and just glass fields for birds. They tend to gobble less when raining but that's not always the case. They are still callable and killable! Good luck!
