Its interesting that most of the coyotes we see are near developed neighborhoods. Harvested this one during a deer hunt last Saturday.

Shoot'um all! I've heard it said that the eastern coyote makes his living eating house and feral cats so that might explain the close proximity to developed areas. If most knew what was out there walking around at night they'd never leave their houses after dark :D

GN and I have developed an interesting theory regarding turkeys out west as they relate to homesites and coyotes. Not surprised by your findings.
