Young Bro and I got out for a little trapping adventure over the holiday week. Same as last year we got shut down earlier than hoped due to rain/snow making it impossible to navigate and keep sets working and missed 3 anticipated checks. With 5 full checks we ended up with 12 red fox, 2 gray fox, 1 coyote, 24 coon and 25 muskrats. I also got the deer 3 minutes after legal shooting on the second day of the WV rifle opener and was checking traps a few hours later. Hope to get out for more later in the year as we both feel we didn't catch what we should have but i think that's always the case with trapping.
