For the last couple year I have been putting out mink sets if I am trapping under a brigde with the right conditions.....amounts to a handfull of sets over the course of a season. Basically a 110 stabilized by a window weight.
Back home for just a couple of days this weekend I put out a small water line. At this location I wanted an otter. I almost didn't bother with the mink set. Was pulling traps in the dark this morning and was very happy to find my first mink! It was dark and didn't have camera so pic at the catch seen. Still amazing to me tht such a simple set can work.
