Post cold weather front....
It was close to 70 degrees earlier today and rainy. It's going down to 15 tonight. I've never trapped with such an extreme weather change. Some of my best nights ever were with new weather front coming in. But I have no idea what to expect with this. Looking forward to finding out though. Be interested to hear some thoughts on this as well as how everybody does in the morning.

Trapped through a few fronts this past year and honestly didn't do any better and maybe not as good on those nights. I'll take the high pressure in place, 38 degree for a low, wind from the west at 5-10 mph nights everyday of the week if possible.

Now with the wind died down I'm hoping things will pop tonight. I will be reluring my DP's for the warm up. The other morning when I was checking I saw some critter high tailing it out of the area in my headlights....ran like a fox but color of a coon. Maybe he'll come back....lol.

Yes that's a yote and 2 reds. Can't tell from the pic, but that red close to the camera cleaned up to be one of the nicest I've ever caught.

Finally pulled this line on Saturday. Still seeing fresh fox tracks in the snow but I guess that's seed for next year. Tickled to death to pull up on this on the final check:

29# female and 32# male. Those sets were there for almost 3 weeks before connecting.

Very nice. Is it a standard fox hole set?
