Me and bro hit it hard for about 8 nights here a week or so ago and ended with an incredible run of fur. 21 fox, 36 coon (with most being over 30 inches), 53 muskrats, 2 yotes and 2 mink. Heckuva run we had until the weather shut us down earlier than planned. We'll get back after them again once beaver season gets here. A couple pics for eye/fur candy. Now to get it all processed and ready for the first sale...

That pond in the background is one of several on the place, we set the dryland trails that the muskrats and mink use to travel from one pond to the other thru the pond edge vegetation with 110 conibears. Both mink we caught this year were the same type set. |
