vic, here is a link on dog proof traps.. this is the best thing that's come out of the trapping in a long time...mustrats will come on land. i use a 110 conibear for them or a #1 or 1 1/2 coils..muskrats are easy to catch and easy to skin and put up.. i would use 1 1/2's on a fox set. make a dirt hole set and bait in the ole and some good call lure. and on the muskrat i would just put a colony trap in front of the hole or a 110 conibear. or make you a few muskrat floats..you may can talk neill out of some of his muskrat floats...lol.thanks and if you need more help let me know. thanks, denny

Ok, got it. Dog proofs are like the little Griz's someone on here uses. Clever design but I am surprised by their cost.

Neill, That 450 looks pretty cool. I am surprised that a 1 1/2 size is good for yotes too. We use to use #2 for fox. I still have a trap or two in my garage. Might need to buy a conibear or 2 for rats. Neighbor has been noticing them more and more lately. I don't know where their holes are but I might do some land sets for them.
