I've been wanting to try my hand at beavers for the last few years but never found a colony within 1 hour drive. NC season opened 1 Nov, and Friday I got a hot tip. Only have a few 330's right now, but I went and set it up over the weekend, set a couple of slides by blocking off the waterline. I had my first one today and it was pretty cool. A female fairly small....15-20#'s. I've ordered some footholds and lures, look forward to setting them up over the coming weeks.
