Anybody been out after em? Been out a couple times and yet to pull the trigger on a duck. I have seen ducks every time, but all the says haven't aligned for me just yet. I did manage a few geese in the early season. |

Plan to get out after them tomorrow morning. Some nasty weather moving in so hopefully the ducks will follow. |

Piles of woodies and mallards in the impoundment. Killed some jacks and black ducks at chesdin |

Slow season so far. Been killing some limits of green heads and canvasbacks and other divers but had to hunt hard to do it. Had a pretty hunt of mallards in one of my duck ponds 5 man limit in 25 min Monday ! Just not ducks wide spread yet. Hopefully 2015 will bring new fowl. Heading to Ocracoke nc tonight to hunt for a few days...happy new year all! |

The ducks I have gotten this year have not come easy. We need more "fowl" weather. Warm days+no wind=no birds |

I have a feeling this weekend could be real good for you boys. New birds may be coming and even if they don't the birds that are here will have to move to bigger/moving water when their swamps/ponds freeze in the next couple days. Makes me all itchy and antsy. Hope to see some pictures of success! |

Killed some real pretty gadwall drakes this am in the snow. Been having some good trips but off from last year this time. This season ...13 hunts , 94 ducks for our group. Thank god for 3 ...5 man limits this year. Last year this day, we were at 16 hunts and 162 ducks. Weather has not been friendly to us. Will post up some pics when I have time to go to photo bucket:) |
