Re: Post season pics of one of my duck ponds... how do you grow the rice? i assume you had a dike system to control water levels so curious how you mannage rice and millet in same impoundment--i thought one required dry ground and the other water coverage?

Re: Post season pics of one of my duck ponds... GN-There are two impoundments side by side with a large dike between with floodgate flashboard risers. Each one is about 1.5 acres. One had rice in managed shallow water. The other has millet and short grain sorghum planted in June and flooded in October with fall rains or 500 foot well.

Re: Post season pics of one of my duck ponds... Great pictures. Same issue by me. All the birds starting showing up in the last three weeks. Seeing mallards every day.
