Been a long while since I stopped by...... last time I tried to get on the site it said the site was down due to a virus????? anyway,simply drifted away. But now, drifting back again. Back on my favorites again and gearing up for yet another spring in the turkey woods, been hitting it hard in the goose fields here in central VA. BUT..... found something,I'd have to say is pretty close too being as fun as workin dem long beards. Talkin Tundra Swan. Blessed to have a spot holding good numbers of Swan so I've been on a mission to take folks lucky enough to draw a tag out with the hope of helping them fill their tag.Talk about workin a bird and talkin em into the decoys Have had the priviledge to share the mornings with fathers & sons, husbands and wives. Even a couple fellows with disablities were ab;e to join in the fun.... We've been lucky enough to put our hands on a bunch of birds and must say, as the season winds down, this has been on of the most rewarding season in my hunting journey! Couple more hunts to go ,then it's on to the thunder chickens

Wow, you are allowed to hunt them? Up here in MD we can watch only. Have called them into Snow Goose sets a few years back. I always thought the best call would be a coke bottle. Blow across the top to make that droning sound. Congrats.

Man, sorry to hear that..... They are a fun bird to hunt, besides my own, Had 11 deck the deck over my junk..... Besides calling turkeys for others, Getting to see /share the thrill of someones first Swan is a real Whoooo
