First Woodie
Well I finally got my first duck all on my own this morning. Killed ducks with other people but this one I got the permission, acted as my own caller, guide and retriever. This one means more to me than the others.

Re: First Woodie
4D, Congrats on your first. I called in my first ducks and goose(1) alone last season and it was a good feeling. Hope you put the smack on a few more during the first leg of the season. What call were you using by the way? I use Haydel's WD-88 and did pretty well with it last year.

You will hear the whistling in your sleep. A waterfowler is born.
