 Gotta Luv Golf Courses!Got to go out to our local golf course yesterday and hunt some geese. We dropped 22 birds, but 2 got away. It was a lot of fun busting them and putting 8 in the fridge is a good start to stocking the freezer.

Re: Gotta Luv Golf Courses! How the heck to you get permission to hunt on the golf course?! Did they have a special hunt or something and close it down to golf for the day?
I killed a couple of deer bowhunting at a golf course. They had a lot of strict rules and you had to be a certain distance into the treeline. It was cool but weird to here guys putting around while up in the stand. Something must have happened because eventually it was discontinuted. |

Re: Gotta Luv Golf Courses! The resident goose problem is big up here. So yes, they closed the course and let us hunt it. It is kind of cool to have game wardens get cripples for you.
