A few flurries today
of ducks and snow. Ducks were moving early. Geese just didnt want to comit with all the snow on the deeks. Should have shot a limit but I will blame it on the weather. Good way to end the season.

That is a real duck hunting picture. Looks like a Chet Reneson watercolor candidate. hunted in the same junk 500 miles west of you. Killed some -screwed up some-got a band off a mallard which was my last duck of the season . Good way to end it.

Awesome pic! Wanted to go so bad but didn't want to have to tow the boat a long way in the snow. Getting cautious in my old age I guess! Congrats on a great end to the season!

Re: A few flurries today
Henned- it was really icy here yesterday in addition to the snow, but I only did a 180 one way and then a 180 to correct on the ice on the way to the hunt yesterday..it is the 360's or multiple 360s that unerve me. but if yo have the road to yourself you have a lot of room for error..just get the old truck out for those days....kidding folks, just kiddng

Congrats! great pic in the snow. It was brutal yesterday morning! I was in a swamp down in Charlotte Co. Managed a limit....3 drake woodies, 2 green heads, and a goose. Good way to end the 09-2010 season!

Re: A few flurries today
Some family obligations kept me off the water the last day. Really wanted to hunt in the snow . . . glad you did well! Congrats!
