I got these guys back today...got them back during a 3 day hunt in January of this year in NC.

Very nice indeed. Have fought the urge to have waterfowl mounted for the last several years. That's a beautiful pair. A wood duck pair would be simply amazing, but all puddle ducks are very beautiful. I'm sure divers are too, but puddle ducks have a special place for me.

Pretty Sprigtail and hen. Where do you hunt in NC? I send some folks down to Ocracoke Is. to hunt with a good and old friend of mine. He's got about 7 or 8 blinds on Howards Reef. I have hunted down in Hatteras and Ocracoke for about 20 years. Great place for pintails in Dec and Jan.

I hunt on the Currituck Sound...really good hunting down that way. there are quite a few pintails near Hatteras and Ocracoke from what I hear.
