Hang in there buddy! Maybe you ought to start a waterfowl countdown thread!

I just started thawing a big pile of goose for my final batch of jerky. September will be here soon enough . . . I gotta get caught up on sleep before that gets here though!

love the pix...
gotta admire the resilience of those river geese
being raised on/around a pond certainly has its share of perils, but being raised on/around a river is in an entirely different league in my opinion.
amazing that any of them make it to maturity.

Come on down here Dale....I've got a damage permit to kill geese all summer long on a local atheletic complex. Place is loaded with 'em.

Got lots of ponds around here loaded with them......but nobody willing to let you hunt.
Don't guess the golf course folks want to wake up to the sound of shooting :shock:
