canadian Honkers
Got this pic the other day @ Glen Maury Park in Buena Vista. I have been seeing loads of these things this year. I guess I need to start hunting them next year. Looks like it might be lots of fun. I have been reading other post on here and it seems like most people say there not that good to eat? I used my new Christmas toy to take the pic. Nikon d50 with Tamron 300mm lens. Thought I would share with all the water foul hunters on here.

Great pics. I love to hunt air carp! They are some awesome looking birds and very wary. Everything I read about canadian geese, these are the hay days!

That is a sharp pic. I would like to start hunting them too. I have heard some people say they arent any good to eat and some people say they are not bad

Love the picture Awesome the way you froze the action but it still shows their movement. You ought to enter it into a photo contest somewhere.
