Well been getting out and doing some fly fishing with some fly's tied over the winter. Been fishing Stony Creek, Cowpasture and Passage creek. Using a olive soft hackle, Rapidan Parachute and some dry's. This warmer weather has got the fish a little more active. Although the mountain water is still a little cold on the warmer days they are hitting dry's. Earl |

Amazing how good the "winter" fly fishing can be when you don't have much winter any more in jan and feb . Warm feb and water warms and a few early bugs move around and trout metabolism heats up and you see some nice fish start working. Not too crowded either |
